Bugs:
- Finder selections do not stick. Add ‘label’ to a list view, sort by label, after a restart the machine, you may need to add it again.
- With Lion and prior, hitting tab and entering password worked. With ML, hit tab, enter password misses the first character. Interestingly, this works just fine on a Hackintosh. (Could the encrypted have anything to do with this, I wonder, as the Hackintosh does not have an encrypted drive.
- Logging in created an environment where commands have to be repeated
- Launching still ends with opened file hidden behind an older file
- iCloud goofs up every now and then, but better than ever
- Mail delete and move to next and undelete does not work well
- App store gets goofed up with other stuff on your added disks
- Encryption and disk utility cause a lot of problems
- Encrypted disks do not show recovery partion
- Downloading a 1 gig update for iMovie is simply ridiculous.
- Timemachine and encypted disks are not reliable
- XCode is better with some serious usability issues and background inflation issues
- Encrypted drive and keyboard lighting don’t work. Shame.
- Floating your thumb need the click area of a touch pad still causes tracking issues (L+ML)
- List ordering, ie. filename, and filename copy
- Still forgets associated applications
- Spotlight still sucks
- Copy dialog hiding behind things
Usability issues
- Preview rotation bug with small pages
A matter of taste:
- On the positive side:
- Screen artifacts are all gone
- Bug previously reported in 10.7.4 double clicking a file opened another is gone
- Facetime works pretty reliably, better than ever
- iMessages work fine
- Screen share works great, and speed is improved
- Feels speedier
- Preview is better than ever
