Auto update shows no update available. Stand alone installer says can not update. I thought it was perhaps related to Apple Store login, etc.<\/p>\n<p>It turns out you need to have the ServerVersion.plist file in \/System\/Library\/CoreServices in order for VMware to allow you to boot. Software Update thinks you\u2019re running 10.7 Server, which doesn\u2019t actually exist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE:<\/strong> Looks like changing the name of the file, applying the update, and renaming back to ServerVersion.plist seems to work.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a92011 EthnoSync.com.
