However, the current version of the server software would not run, resulting in a $19.99 purchase of the version 3 of the server software from the App Store. Unfortunately, however, 10 hours after that purchase, my server is still down. The problems with the new server software are well documented here:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/discussions.apple.com\/thread\/5468766?start=30&amp;tstart=0\" target=\"_blank\">unable to get network users working in server 3<\/a>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>No word from Apple, and no foreseeable solution.
